GCash and Maya wallet identifiers are stored in tokenised or partial form only. Withdrawal requests are matched to verified account identifiers to prevent misdirection of funds. Source-of-funds checks may be triggered automatically when deposit volumes reach regulatory thresholds, and additional documentation may be requested before funds are released.

Transaction records are retained for a minimum period required by Philippine anti-money-laundering regulations and tax laws, even if the account is subsequently closed.
